Tax statements are mailed each year in early November. (If you do not receive a tax bill by December 1st, please call our office) The failure of the taxpayer to receive the tax bill DOES NOT relieve the taxpayer of any tax liability imposed on him/her by law. Tax payments must be in our office by December 31 or earlier. If mailed, they must be postmarked by December 31st. Please check with your local post office for their postmark deadlines! When paying by mail be sure to include your county-issued tax statements, once payment is received and processed the collector’s office will mail a paid receipt back to you. If payment is received after the due date of December 31st, please refer to the delinquency schedule, located on the printed tax statement, for the correct amount of payment due or go to pay/view taxes here.
